Adele to Perform at Grammy Awards

(NewsCore) - Adele said Tuesday that she will perform at the upcoming Grammy Awards.

The performance will be her first since she underwent throat surgery in November.

"Ima be, Ima be singing at the Grammys," the British singer posted on her Twitter page Tuesday. "It's been so long I started to forget I was a singer! I can't wait."

Though the British singer was confirmed to attend the Feb. 12 ceremony, it was unclear whether she would be able to step up to the microphone.

Adele has been resting her voice since November after undergoing a procedure to stop a vocal cord hemorrhage.

The 23-year-old nabbed six Grammy nominations this year for hits off her sophomore album "21," including "Rolling in the Deep" and "Someone Like You."

The award ceremony, hosted by LL Cool J, will be held in Los Angeles.
