(CANVAS STAFF REPORTS) - Every mom knows that raising kids will be the toughest, yet most rewarding, job she'll ever have.

But mommies, have no fear, you don't have to go it alone anymore! We've compiled a list of the top mommy blogs that you just can't miss.

• Baby on Bored claims it has left no opinion unexpressed since 1966. But beware; you must have a sense of humor to digest this writer's sarcasm.

"Edgy, humorous, honest" is how Stefanie Wilder Taylor describes her blog.

"You will never hear me talk about what my kids had for lunch or what I had for lunch for that matter," Wilder Taylor writes in an email. "There are no recipes or scrap-booking tips or chit chat about hobbies (I have no hobbies) contained in my posts.

"All you will find is (mostly) humorous non-Hallmarky updates on the going-ons of a family that includes twins (one with growth issues), a newly sober mom, a kindergartner and one very foxy dad."

She backs this up pointing to her three favorite posts on the site. Her post about her daughter's imaginary friend is funny and cute ; while her honesty about her drinking problem leaves her brutally vulnerable ; but her "I Believe" post lifts reader up again with her affirming thoughts.

• Motherhood Uncensored – This mom's no-nonsense approach to motherhood is refreshing and deals with the everyday in a take-charge, "no surrender" kinda way. Motherhood Uncensored is reminiscent of a "Sex and the City"-for-moms type of blog.

Kristen Chase, publisher of Motherhood Uncensored, describes the site: "like a box of chocolates; you just never know what you're going to get."

She writes that the site is full of "heartfelt tear jerkers, bladder busting tales, and yes, the occasional jelly-filled nut clusters - all of which will have you coming back for more."

Chase's favorite posts range from risque and blunt, like her post about how her sex life has changed after pregnancy ( note: racy language ahead); to a tender look ahead to her relationship with her son ; to a witty post about how moms can much handle any pretty any situation .

• Rookie Moms – This site was launched by two self-proclaimed "geeky," overachiever, control-freak new mothers who guarantee reading their blog will be "more fun than wiping someone's tushy." The Rookie Moms provide one fun activity a day for your baby's first year.

Heather Gibbs Flett, publisher of Rookie Moms, writes in an email that her site "is two geeky girls' guide to the first years of motherhood, written by two best friends who had their first babies the same year."

The goal of the site is fun and activity. This is reflected in Flett's three favorite posts: " 25 activities to try during your maternity leave ;" " make some easy kids pants ;" and ' Track your new mama milestones ."

• Mama B – The tagline: "Confessions of a stay-at-home mama" say it all. We promise you'll get hooked on this blog, complete with polls and fun games to test your "Mommy IQ!"

• Free Range Kids – This blog by New York City mom Lenore Skenazy has come up with a concept to "raise safe, self-reliant children, without going nuts with worry." Dubbed "America's Worst Mom" by some for sending her nine-year-old child on the subway, she has sparked conversation and offered tips on how to raise "free rangers."

• Kimchi Mamas – For "spicy" moms who are expressive about raising multicultural kids in America. The group of mothers with Korean-American children has even given a shoutout to Katherine Heigl who is now considered a "Kimchi Mama" after adopting a Korean baby girl. But, whether you're Korean or not, you're sure to be impressed by this unique forum.

• Rugrat Reprieve – For all those moms who are struggling to find a little "me" time, feel guilty no more! This blog offers a ton of advice to help you "reclaim a little adult time in your parenting life."

• The Three-Martini Complaint Department – This "judgment-free vent zone" by Christie Mellor, is the place to go for all stressed-out moms who need to take a time out. Not only does this site provide much-needed laughter, it is also full of insight to help raise children into the best they can be. As she told the New York Times, Mellor equated the martini title to "a metaphor for having more fun in your life, and having a grown-up life."
