'Glee' Cast Apologizes to Lindsay Lohan for Mocking Her

(NewsCore) - The cast of "Glee" made amends with Lindsay Lohan after the SAG Awards Sunday, apologizing to the actress for mocking her struggle with addiction on an episode of their TV show, according to TMZ.

The entire cast of the hit high-school musical, with the exception of actresses Lea Michele and Jane Lynch who were not present, approached Lohan, 24, at a West Hollywood hot spot, Chateau Marmont, where they were all dining.

The cast reportedly told the "Mean Girls" star they were sorry for mocking her multiple trips to rehab for dug addiction on the show and did not intend to hurt her feelings.

Lohan accepted their apology and chatted away with actor Chris Colfer, 20, who plays Kurt Hummel on the show, who was eager to meet her.

The joke that caused offense came in a Nov. 16 episode, when "Country Strong" star Gwyneth Paltrow, 38, guest-starred playing a Spanish teacher subbing for Will Schuester (played by actor Matthew Morrison, 32).

In her lesson, Paltrow leads the class to translate "Lindsay Lohan is totally crazy, right?" in Spanish, followed by, "How many times has Lindsay Lohan been to rehab?"

"Lindsay is so upset with Gwyneth," Dina Lohan, Lindsay's mother, told Radar Online in December. "Lindsay was watching it while in Betty Ford, then she called me and was upset and said, 'Why did she have to do that?'"

She added, “We are the first to make fun of ourselves in our family -- and Lindsay has even done SNL ["Saturday Night Live"] a few times -- but Gwyneth went overboard, and it was unnecessary."

Lohan was released from the Betty Ford Center in January, where she entered after testing positive for cocaine while on probation for a 2007 DUI case. She has been in rehab five times.
