(EndPlay Staff Reports) - Disney's animated film "The Lion King" reigned at the box office the summer of 1994. Movie buffs expect Christopher Nolan's "The Dark Knight Rises" to rule the summer of 2012.
What do the two films have in common? Not much, it seems.
Brad Hansen, also known as YouTube user Moviemaestroten, apparently had another idea. Hansen created " The Lion King Rises ," a two-minute video clip combining the voice-over from trailer for "The Dark Knight" with footage from "The Lion King."
The clip features Simba as Batman, Nala as Catwoman, Scar as Bane and Zazu the toucan as Alfred.
The clip as certainly garnered favorable reactions in the blogosphere. YouTube user AngieBabe222 said the video was "perfect" and "gave her chills." User OliviaTheGeek said Hansen's video was "one of the best things I've ever seen on YouTube."
Though this movie mash-up might be the one of the best examples of clips created by combining content from two films, it's definitely not the only instance one can find on the web. Here are some other movie trailer mash-ups and parodies shared by YouTube users to keep you entertained:
