(EndPlay Staff Reports) - The Grinch has morphed into a darker version of himself in the latest viral video to hit the Internet.
" The Sith Who Stole Christmas " uses the narration of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas," as well as the soundtrack of "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch," but replaces the video with outtakes from the "Star Wars" movies.
The creative video opens up with the Ewoks, replacing the citizens of Whoville, while the familiar voice of the narrator of "The Grinch" reveals the new "Grinch" – Darth Vader.
Timed perfectly with scenes from "Star Wars" and the music from "The Grinch," Darth Vader is shown in scene after scene of his most "grinchy" acts.
At the end of the video, the Ewoks are shown again, celebrating, because "the true meaning of Christmas came through."
Many have praised for the video.
Entertainment blog Zap2it speculated what other villains might fit well into a remake, including Voldemort and the Wicked Witch of the West.
"Star Wars" fans are loving the parody, too; and they tend to be the real critics.
YouTube commenter benchuck05 wrote, "So perfect!!!! I love a well edited video. SO WELL DONE! Made my little heart happy. Plus it's Star Wars...can't go too wrong with a Star Wars mashup. Great job!!!"
