Zooey Deschanel Financial Details Show Thrift

(EndPlay Staff Reports) - "New Girl" Zooey Deschanel and Death Cab for Cutie lead singer Ben Gibbard announced their split in November, but official divorce papers have now been filed.

TMZ reported that Deschanel's lawyer also filed the actress's financial information, something that is not usually done.

TMZ also posted a PDF of the divorce filing with the income and expense declaration.

The financials show that the actress isn't a big spender. Here's how things broke down:

"New Girl" Salary - $95,000 per month

Expenses - $22,550 per month

Some of those monthly expenses include $500 for eating out, $800 for utilities, $2,000 for clothes, $1,000 for groceries/household supplies, $600 for laundry/cleaning and $300 for her cell phone and email accounts.

But don't think she spends all of her money on herself. The 31-year-old actress/singer also donates $1,500 a month to charity.

One of the most impressive items revealed in her financial history was that out of the three credit cards that Deschanel has (AmEx, Visa, Mastercard), she has zero credit card debt.

The thrifty star also had other net worth included in the divorce papers filed on Dec. 27, which gave the reason of the popular "irreconcilable differences." She owns a property estimated to be worth $693,300, has $1,578,000 in the bank and $1,645,000 in stocks and bonds amongst other things.

The Washington Post reported that the marriage between Deschanel and Gibbard lasted two years. They were married in Sept. 2009.

Besides the release of Deschanel's private financials, the couple has stayed silent on their break-up. Deschanel is staying busy with her new hit show "New Girl," singing with her band She & Him and working on her website Hello Giggles. Gibbard will be overseas for the first half of 2012 touring with Death Cab for Cutie.
