(NewsCore) - An American Airlines flight landed safely Sunday at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport after a security concern.
Fighter jets were launched to intercept American Airlines Flight 34, which departed from Los Angeles International Airport, at JFK after three passengers went into a restroom and refused to come out, according to WNBC-TV.
A security official told WNBC that the three passengers were back in their seats before the plane landed at JFK.
The plane landed safely at JFK at approximately 4:05pm ET.
The FBI confirmed to FOX News Channel that there was an air marshal on board the flight.
