(EndPlay Staff Reports) - Earth Day is today, and if you have not completely embraced your green side with composts and say, bicycling to work, maybe start out this Earth Day by taking advantage of all of the free offerings that these fine establishments are offering to make Earth a cleaner place.
Starbucks - Go into your neighborhood Starbucks today and bring in your favorite reusable mug to get yourself a free cup of coffee (hot or iced) or tea. If you don't have one, Starbucks will be selling theirs for 20 percent off. And for if you plan on sitting down for your morning break, order your coffee on one of their "for-here" cups and they will pick up the tab. One less paper cup goes in the trash and you're left with a little more cash.
Origins - The saying goes that beauty is only skin deep, but if you care about that skin and have been thinking of going all natural, bring in your current skin care product and trade it in for a brand new full size container of an Origins cleanser. Your skin care product can be full or empty. Just fill out the form posted on their site and bring it into your local Origins store .
Lowe's - It is spring and if your green thumb is itching to grow something, head on down to Lowe's and pick up a free tree to plant. In honor of Earth Day this year, Lowe's is giving away one million trees to plant in your backyard, local park, school or wherever you see fit. Check out their website to find a local Lowe's store near you.
Disney Stores - If you need to add another reusable shopping bag to your collection, go into any Disney Store today with five plastic bags to recycle and receive a free Disney reusable shopping bag. An extra bonus if you're a Disney fan. And if you have some extra time, stay and participate in an Earth Day scavenger hunt.
EVOS - According to their Facebook page, the healthy-for-you fast food restaurant is offering a free organic milk shake to their customers – no purchase necessary. Make a good choice for your body and Earth.
National Parks - Take advantage of National Park Week coinciding with Earth Day and receive free admission in any of the 394 national parks. Check out the national park website to find the closest one to you.
