Hefner and Former Fiancee in Custody Battle Over Puppy

(NewsCore) - Hugh Hefner and his former fiancee Crystal Harris are embroiled in a custody battle over their puppy, the Playboy mogul said.

When Harris ended her engagement to Hefner in June, he let her keep their Cavalier King Charles spaniel Charlie, but now he says he wants to keep the dog, People magazine reported.

"We both love the puppy," Hefner told People. "I told her if she wants to keep the ring and the Bentley, then maybe I can keep the puppy. I [hope] we will work it out."

"The puppy's valuable, but not $100,000 worth," he added.

Harris, 25, became engaged to the octogenarian last December and the two were set to say "I do" in June at a televised wedding ceremony at the infamous Playboy Mansion.

But Playboy Playmate Harris had second thoughts and split from Hefner, 85, just days before their wedding.
