(NewsCore) - Hoping to cash in on the Tim Tebow craze, a Colorado brewery is introducing a new beer branded the "Tebrew Sunday Sipper."
The Bonfire Brewery in Eagle, Colo., posted an image on its Facebook page Wednesday of a Tebow look-alike performing the Broncos quarterback's famed kneeling pose, in silhouette. The man also is holding a beer mug.
The image accompanied an announcement that said, "Tebrew Sunday Sipper -- a barleywine from Bonfire -- is almost here. In the style of 4th quarter heroics, we're waiting until the last minute to serve it up -- the moment the 10 oz. glasses arrive, the real games can begin. Stay tuned."
Tebow probably will not endorse the product, according to The Denver Post, but the brewery said it would donate 10 percent of all sales to the Tim Tebow Foundation if asked.
Only 150 gallons of the beer were brewed, specifically for the Vail Big Beers Festival in January.
Andy Jessen, who works at the brewery, said the beer was never intended to go into distribution.
"It's really more about the uniqueness of the year and the time of year to celebrate football. And we all love the Broncos up here," Jessen said.
