LeBron James Invites 50 Guests for New Year Birthday Bash

(The New York Post) - NBA star LeBron James will be ringing in the new year in style.

The Miami Heat's big three -- James, Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade -- will cheer the arrival of 2012 and James' birthday at a dinner at Vesper American Brasserie at the Shelborne Hotel in South Beach.

James, who turns 27 on Friday, will be feted by 50 friends, including girlfriend Savannah Brinson.

Wade's girlfriend, Gabrielle Union, and Bosh's wife, Adrienne Williams-Bosh, also will be on the scene.

Later, the crew will head to the Shelborne's pool for a performance by Lauryn Hill.

But they cannot get too carried away with the celebrations. The Heat have a game Sunday evening against the Charlotte Bobcats.
