On March 26, 1988, Aleta Cureton-Browne was murdered in her Athens District home on West 126th Street near Halldale Avenue.
The autopsy found that Ms. Cureton-Browne was pregnant at the time of her death.
Investigators concluded that she probably knew her killer because there were no signs of forced entry into her home.
A few days later, Mr. Cureton-Browne's missing 1980 Ford Mustang was found near LAX.
Sgt. Robert Taylor at the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide Bureau would like to talk with anyone who worked with Ms. Cureton- Browne at the LAPD's Parker Center or Southwest Division as well as with her former neighbors and friends.
To contact Det. Taylor, call 323.890.5500.
