Christine Devine

Christine Devine is a veteran television news anchor/reporter at KTTV in Los Angeles. She co-anchors Studio 11 LA and the FOX 11 News at 10pm Monday through Friday evenings.  Christine has covered LA's biggest news stories, including earthquakes, elections, and the LA Riots. 

Christine is also the host of Wednesday's Child. The Wednesday's Child adoption segment has aired on FOX 11 since 1995, helping more than 700 children from foster care find forever families.

Christine's passion is empowering young people to believe in themselves and find their unique gift within. Christine authored an auto-biography "Finding a Forever Family, A News Anchor's Notebook." She also has written articles for Fostering Families magazine. She has been honored by the Child Welfare League of America and the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute as an "Angel in Adoption." She received the Anna Quindlen Award for philanthropy journalism from the Society of Professional Journalists.  In 2012, she was named by Los Angeles Magazine as one of the "50 Women Changing L.A.".

Christine won a Gracie Allen Award from AWRT-American Women in Radio and Television for a special on breast cancer and the Avon Walk. She also won a Gracie for a series entitled Fertility Over 40.  She has been honored before the L.A. City Council, L.A. County Board of Supervisors, by the L.A. Police Department and L.A. County Sheriff's Department.

She is the recipient of 16 Emmys, including the prestigious Governors Award, from the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.  

Christine has three dogs and, thanks to photographer friends, all appear in dog calendars and music videos. She's had a longtime engagement to musician/actor Sean McNabb. They are into fitness, healthy cooking, and Harleys.

In Hollywood, Christine has appeared as a news reporter in the following movies: Independence Day, Cable Guy, Wag The Dog, and Most Wanted. She's been seen on the following series: 24, Beverly Hills 90210, Melrose Place, and Prison Break.

She is a proud Sun Devil graduate from Arizona State University and was inducted into the Hall of Fame at the Walter Cronkite School of Broadcast Journalism. Christine was Valedictorian of her high school and voted "Most Likely to Succeed." She attended ASU on a Leadership Scholarship and Medallion of Merit.

Among her other honors: Best Anchor Team from the Associated Press, Media Volunteer of the Year Award from the Volunteers of America, Lifetime Achievement from the Century City Chamber of Commerce, and numerous Press Club awards.
