Gigi Graciette

Born in Northern California but raised in Hollywood, Gigi Graciette got her first taste of journalism when "La Opinion", Los Angeles' daily Spanish-language newspaper, published her first editorial.

She was only 13 years old.

Gigi began her TV career at the Telemundo Network in Los Angeles, where she was a feature and entertainment reporter for two national shows.

Gigi then went on to produce and host her own television specials, including "The Hispanic Family of the Year".

She then moved over to the competition, Univision, where she became the Los Angeles Bureau Chief and Reporter for Sábado Gigante, one of the network's highest-rated programs.

In 1995, it was back to Telemundo for Graciette where she was the Co-creator, Executive Producer and On-camera Host of her own daily talk show "El y Ella".

Off camera, Gigi managed a staff of more than 30 people, working simultaneously in two countries where the show taped: Hollywood and Mexico City.

Seen in over 15 countries, "El y Ella" soon became the highest rated afternoon show on Telemundo.

A woman who likes to work 24 hours a day, Gigi also hosted and produced "El y Ella: The Radio Show" – a daily call-in program broadcast on KTNQ and affiliates.

Fulfilling a personal dream, Gigi then went to work for Televisa in Mexico City, the largest producer of Spanish language programming in the world.

There she solo-anchored three one-hour newscasts a day for Televisa's news network "ECO", seen in over thirty countries.

Graciette also created and executive produced a daily political program called "Eco Expediente" and co-hosted a daily talk radio show for Televisa Radio.

Did we tell you she liked to work 24 hours a day?

Back in Los Angeles, Gigi Graciette can now be seen nightly on the Channel 13 and FOX 11 Newscasts.

She is also the host of "Ella Es…Gigi Graciette", a nationally syndicated radio show – a three-hour program heard daily.

Raised by her Portuguese mother and grandmother, Gigi loves to travel – she's already visited 23 countries – and in addition to having lived in Mexico City, has spent a lot of time in Portugal, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru, Haiti and England.

Gigi Graciette is fluent in three languages, English, Spanish and Portuguese.

She is single and lives in Los Angeles.
