Tshaka Armstrong

Tech Ninja Tshaka Armstrong is FOX 11's resident nerd and geek (he vehemently says there's a difference).

In 2012 he took on a new role in front of the camera as a Reporter talking about technology and helping FOX 11 Viewers understand how to be safer, smarter users of the Internet and their "gadgets."

He's spent the last 15 years behind the camera editing and producing news stories, specials and investigative reports for KCOP13 and Fox11, and has worked in various capacities for many other notable entertainment entities.

His credits include: over a dozen Emmy nominations for producing and editing everything from breaking news stories to human interest specials, an Emmy win for a single news story feature, "Alvarado Update," two Golden Mics (one for best editor of the year, the other for a feature story), an RTNDA Award and an Edward R. Murrow award for producing and editing a feature story celebrating the life and achievements of the first black quarterback, Marlin Briscoe.

Outside of Fox11, Armstrong is a husband and proud father of three. Tshaka is active in the community as the co-founder and President of the non-profit organization, Digital Shepherds whose mission is to "help families cross the digital divide" by helping parents, children and educators navigate the best that the world of technology has to offer while equipping them to appropriately handle the worst.

Some residents in northwestern South Carolina say they found bags of candy on their street containing a piece of paper asking them to join the Ku Klux Klan. Residents in an Oconee County subdivision found the bags Saturday night or Sunday morning.

The Lenovo Yoga 8 is a surprisingly solid tablet! For the family looking for a low cost and high quality in a sea of off-brand junktastic Android tablets, this one should be in your top 3 this holiday season.

    Review: Samsung Galaxy Note 3

I've been a lover of the Note line of "phablets" since the first Galaxy Note came to market. But what does the Note 3 offer you today that stands out among some pretty stellar competition? Plenty. Maybe too much for some.
I've been a lover of the Note line of "phablets" since the first Galaxy Note came to, and consequently, created the market. History aside, what does the Note 3 offer you today that makes it a standout choice among some pretty stellar competition? Plenty. Maybe too much for some, so I'll unpack that below.
