CDC: Food portion sizes four times as big since 1950's

If you think food portion sizes are out of control, you're right.

The Centers for Disease Control has released new figures that show the average restaurant meal is now four times larger than it was in the 1950's.

In the 50's, the average hamburger was 3.9 ounces. It's now at 12 ounces.

French fries went from 2.4 ounces to almost 7 ounces.

And the average soda went from 7 to 40 ounces.
