She won acclaim for her play ‘Real Women Have Curves' and also wrote the screenplay for the movie.

Lopez now has a new play called ‘Trio Los Machos' ...it's the story of a guitar trio and the 50 year friendship between the three men.

‘Trio Los Machos' runs through July 8th at the Casa 0101 Theater.

Showtimes are Friday and Saturday nights at 8:00pm...Sundays at five.
