Nothing like some bright, sunny smiles to warm up a cold rainy week, so this week we're taking a look back at a sibling set that was first featured last year during some of our lazy days of summer – days made for things like a leisurely bike ride at Shoreline Village in Long Beach, California. Thanks to Wheel Fun Rentals, that day we checked out a couple of "Surreys", donned our helmets and went along our merry way.
Sophia (1996) is the big sister of this trio and she's often referred to as the "peacekeeper" in the family. She keeps a watchful eye over her brothers and deploys little life lessons learned as the oldest sibling to them when they need that little extra bit of help staying on task or doing what is right. Sophia is articulate, assertive and does well in school. She and her brothers are bilingual in English and Spanish. Sophia is interested in the entertainment field but for now it's going to college that is in her sight.
Aaron (1998) is an expressive youngster with a genuine concern for protecting the environment and his fellow man. Aaron spoke enthusiastically about the need to quell global warming and his desire to join the armed forces to protect his fellow man, just like he already sees himself doing when it comes to looking after his little brother Ricardo.
Ricardo (2000) loves being outdoors and definitely looks up to his big brother and sister. Like his older brother, Ricardo is already starting to express a shared interest in possibly joining the armed forces. These three siblings share a close bond and being together is of high importance to them. They long to be able to share future lazy days of summer – and all the days of their youth – together and as part of a permanent and loving family. Raising kids isn't always a breeze, but the ride is well worth taking!
