Both men belonged to the Big Hazard gang -- one of L.A.'s oldest -- rooted here in the eastside Ramona Gardens housing projects.
"Menace" was paroled in 2010 after serving time for shooting at two LAPD officers. Then just 2-months after his release, LAPD Detective Louis Zorilla says "Menace" accused one of his own homeboys of stealing a gun from him.
Investigators now say "Menace" - in prison, will have to be looking over his shoulder all the time. As one cop notes...Menace "absolutely killed the wrong guy".
