No Kill L.A. Adoption Weekend - 50 rescue groups and shelters, and 1000 adorable pets are coming together for a weekend of No Kill L.A.  Go and adopt your new best friend from hundreds of dog, cats, puppies and kittens.  All will be spayed, neutered and vaccinated and microchipped ready to begin their new life with you.  Pure breed and mixed breed pets will be available.

Wild West Days - Join the celebration of the rich history of Arboretum's past.  There will be live music and ol-fashioned barn dance, calliopes, horses, stagecoach rides, ropers, Queen Anne Cottage open house, and plenty of activities for children, including panning for gold.

Armenian Festival - This annual festival celebrates the richness of Armenian culture allowing people the opportunity to enjoy first-hand many deep-rooted traditions.  Alongside costume shows, folk dancing and singers and regional costumes and artwork.

Safe Boating Expo - Learning to be safe on the water is the focus of the 8th annual channel Islands Harbor Safe Boating Expo.  The event includes safety demonstrations on personal flotation devices, as well as air, sea and fire rescue demonstrations. Other highlights include tours and safety products on display.
