Pasadena Public Library's Grand Opening of their "Seed Library" - Celebrate National Garden month this April by joining them as they launch Pasadena's first Seed Library.  the library provides an opportunity for interested gardeners to "borrow" heirloom and open-pollinated seeds for free.  The goal is to create a self-sustaining seed library where growers "borrow" seeds then save and return seeds to the seed library after they have harvested their own crops.  At the Grand Opening visitors will learn how to check out seeds from the collection, enjoy a fun film about the evolution of the seed library, healthy snacks and special seed craft for the kids.

Canine Classic Dog Walk & Festival - This fun-filled family fundraiser benefiting the Agoura Hills/Calabasas Community Center, the Calabasas Rotary, L.I.F.E. Animal Rescue and Healthcare for Homeless Animals will feature a two mile walk sponsored by Camp Bow Wow Agoura Hills through the crystal clear rolling hills of Calabasas.  Route highlights will include rover rest stops with plenty of water, food and fun for pets of all kinds and their human companions.
