Southeast LA Collective & The City of Bell host the first Southeast LA Art Walk -The Southeast Los Angeles Collective (SELACo) is proud to announce the first art walk in southeast Los Angeles, in collaboration with the City of Bell, local businesses, organizations, and artists.   The event will showcasing over 30 artists, the Southeast LA Art Walk will reflect a diverse selection of mediums, styles, and trends in the area. Throughout the Art Walk, artists will showcase their work in local businesses.  The Art Walk is FREE to the public. Check in at participating businesses to obtain a map highlighting the locations of exhibiting artists, with this map, visitors can easily navigate the 1-mile Art Walk route.

The Culver City Village "Rock and Walk”-The Culver Village “Rock and Walk” Celebrate Summer with an afternoon of fun, food and entertainment! The Boulevard’s eclectic businesses, gourmet eateries and family friendly activities create a free event that’s not to be missed!  Kids’ activities, live music, free goodies and special promotions.

Document Shredding and E-Waste Collection-The City of West Hollywood is sponsoring a free Document Shredding and E-Waste collection.  West Hollywood residents and business are encouraged to get rid of all those unwanted and unsellable items such as televisions, computers, monitors, laptops, DVD players, fax machines, telephones, and more.  Document shredding is “secure,” which means the shredding is done at the collections site.

Topanga Vintage Festival! at Valley Cultural’s "Concerts on the Green"- Over 100 vendors will be selling vintage, antiques, art and quality goods. Food vendors will serve great fair foods, or BYO picnic, and the beer garden will be open from 4 to 8pm. The Topanga Stage will feature local bands including Mostly Kosher (modern Klezmer) and the Jug Or Nots, playing Tin Pan Alley music from the 1920’s, and at 6 pm the main stage will come alive with Strange Native followed by Hollywood U2.

Family Festival & Concert at the Levitt Pavilion- Come to a free children’s concert, at The Levitt Pavilion Los Angeles at MacArthur Park.  Bring the entire family and enjoy the sound of Jose-Luis Orozco & Friends, a children's interactive bilingual concert! He's an educational & interactive performer that connects with his audience and gets everyone from baby to dad dancing. There will be fun pre-concert activities, along with a food court!  José-Luis Orozco is a bilingual educator, children’s author, and recording artist who has dedicated his life to creating quality bilingual music, books, and videos for children. He encourages learning of the Spanish language and promotes Latin American culture through his art. His rich catalog includes 15 CDs, a DVD, and 3 award-winning songbooks each year, he shares his music in live performances for over 100,000 educators at education conferences nationwide, who then integrate his music into their classroom curriculum.

The Music Center presents “Dance Downtown Samba”-The sights and sounds of Carnival come to The Music Center Plaza for Samba night. Join us for beginner dance lessons, live music and fun times with friends. No experience necessary, all are welcome. Enjoy this festive night of samba under the stars. Shakespeare by the Sea presents “HAMLET”-Shakespeare by the Sea presents Hamlet, Prince of Denmark.  A young Prince struggles whether ‘to be or not to be’ in this compelling family drama about a stolen crown.  An agonizing prince, a counterfeit king, duplicitous queen, a tragic heroine, a troupe of actors and a ghost are woven into dramatic tale without equal.
