Pasadena Chalk Festival - The 22nd Annual Pasadena Chalk Festival welcomes more than 600 artists from Southern California and beyond.  Talented artists will utilize 25,000 sticks of pastel chalk to create spectacular murals on the pavement encompassing two city blocks at Paseo Colorado shopping center.  Amazing works-of-art in every style imaginable from classical to contemporary to socially relevant will be created and shown over the course of Father's Day Weekend.  Guests of all ages are invited to watch artists at work, enjoy live music, shop and dine during the two-day festival.  KID'S CHALKLAND will be an area where kids can make Father's Day cards for dad. There will also be a Pasadena Police Classic Car Show on Sunday from 10am to 3pm.

Make Music Downey - Downey hosts an adventurous mix of free concerts at the second annual Make Music Downey.  the exciting festival of sound will feature over 60 bands and musicians performing in unconventional spaces including outdoor stages, museums, art galleries and more.  Nationally known artists and Latin Grammy nominated bands perform at the main stage next to an interactive outdoor village featuring over 50 artists and community partners.  the music will begin right after the Tour de Downey bike ride.  Festival seating is open to all at the Main Stage in front of City hall, and other venues are within easy walking distance.  Cheer the riders as they cross the finish line at the Downey Civic Center, then stay to enjoy the vibe of Making Music.

23rd Annual Santa Monica Festival - The Santa Monica festival will showcase sustainable living and culture through an array of free, family-friendly activities and performances, including art workshops, music and dance performances, cooking demonstrations, fitness classes, and more that reflect the culture and diversity of this unique beach city.  New to 2014 is a pop-up playground, which allows children to create their own worlds out of everyday items.  Also the Family Bike Hub will offer bike safety checks, maintenance tips, prizes and much more.  Plus ride the Big Blue Bus route 8 to the Festival for free that day.  The free festival is an opportunity for residents and visitors alike to come together to connect, create, and celebrate Santa Monica.  The 23rd annual Santa Monica Festival is presented by the City of Santa Monica Cultural Affairs Division and Office of Sustainability and the Environment, and is produced by Community Arts Resources (CARS).  Get your bus coupon at
