X-ray Of Agents Dog Leads To Arrest Of Glendora Doctor

He's becoming compared to a ‘pusher.'

A doctor is accused of writing prescriptions for powerful drugs, like Oxycodone or Vicodin...for the right price.

Dr. Rolando Atiga was arrested at his Glendora clinic after a two-month investigation.

In one instance, an undercover Sheriff's Deputy pretended to be a patient with an injured back and neck.

She presented x-rays of her dog as proof...you can see its tail...but the doctor wrote the prescription anyway!

Investigators say Atiga pocketed about 400 dollars for each prescription.

He also asked patients to tip the receptionist fifty bucks.

The doctor has a prior felony conviction for taking illegal kickbacks, he's been disciplined by the medical board, and his license is on probation.

Atiga has since been released from custody.
