A valley mother is due in court to change her plea in a child abuse case.
32-year-old Jutrina Tillman was arrested on Christmas night last year.
According to court paperwork, she tried to strangle her 5-year-old son because she was mad he was playing video games.
Police say she also threatened her 13-year-old daughter with an 8-inch knife when the teen pushed her off the boy.
Tillman originally pleaded not guilty to aggravated assault and child abuse charges.
When Tillman made a court appearance in December, she told the judge that her daughter got caught having sex, and out of spite called the police on her mother. Court paperwork revealed an open child abuse case involving Tillman and her 13-year-old daughter.
