The People Mover has been around so long Huel Perkin's picture on the side used to have not one gray hair.
"I think it's an awesome way to see the city. It's a great opportunity to see the different architecture," said one woman.
The 25-year-old elevated train is an efficient way to get around downtown and to peak inside Cobo Arena mid-renovation. Yet, the People Mover may need to do something more to survive another quarter century.
"I really have never been on it," one man told us.
"It's great. It's just a little small," another quipped.
"It kind of sucks," one person said. "They charge too much for it."
"I love it. It's a nice transportation for Detroit, and I hope it gets better in the future," another individual remarked.
