They strutted their stuff and showed off Detroit pride. You Tube videos show Detroit's MLK High School marching band in all its glory, doing what they do best, Olympic style, in London, England.

We caught up with the world travelers fresh off their international flight at Metro Airport. For the 50 band members and adult chaperones who took part, this was the trip of a lifetime. For many of the students, it was their first journey outside the US. Before they even left, they raised about $280,000 for insurance, airfare and hotel rooms. UAW Ford and McDonalds were among the major sponsors. The students also did plenty of sight-seeing during their trip.
