Azusa, CA -
(CNS) A man in his 30s tried to kidnap a 14-year-old girl who was walking on an Azusa street today, a sheriff's deputy said.
The girl was walking on Orangecrest Avenue, north of Citrus Edge Street, around 1 pm when the man grabbed her, said Los Angeles County sheriff's Lt. David Vega of the San Dimas Station. She broke free and ran away, Vega said.
The suspect, who was described as having short dark hair, was last seen driving westbound on Citrus Edge Street in a white Nissan pickup truck.
