(AP) Fullerton police have shot and killed a motorist during a chase from Orange County into neighboring Bellflower.
Los Angeles County sheriff's Sgt. Harry Drucker says it happened at around 3 a.m. Tuesday.
Details aren't clear but no officers were hurt.
Sheriff's homicide detectives are investigating.
Fullerton police have been under scrutiny since they shot and killed a homeless, mentally ill man last year during a confrontation.
The shooting of Kelly Thomas sparked a political firestorm and led to criminal charges against two former officers.
