Double-Fatal Car Accident Closes Lanes On Interstate 5 - Los Angeles Local News, Weather, and Traffic

(CNS) Two people died today in a crash on the southbound Golden State (5) Freeway near Lebec in northern Los Angeles County, authorities said.

The crash was reported about 5 a.m. near State Route 138, said California Highway Patrol Officer Francisco Villalobos.

Four southbound freeway lanes were blocked while crews worked to clear the scene, Villalobos said. The circumstances of the crash were under investigation.
