At a press conference Thursday morning in Santa Monica, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos first unveiled two new updates to the Kindle Fire family, both of them with improved, high-resolution displays.
Amazon launched a slew of new tablet devices ranging in price from $69 to $500 along with a heaps of new products to purchase on them. Included are some great options for reading and listening to books on a tablet as well as monitoring your kids use of tablets and making it easier in general to shop, read, listen, store and retrieve everything.
What's impressive is the Kindle Fire managed to dig into 22%of the market in its first year. So with the edition of these new tablets at reasonable price points, they're on track to make a much bigger dent.
