Steve and Rocky's red wine vinaigrette

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (MyFox Detroit) -

Tomato season is winding down, but there are still plenty of great varieties for sale at your local markets.

Steve Allen of Steve and Rocky's restaurant in Novi suggests the following dressing to pour over your sliced tomatoes:

Red Wine Vinaigrette
1/4 cup of ground garlic
2 ounces anchovy
1 1/2 ounce prepared mustard
1 ounce dry mustard
2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup catsup
1 1/2 tablespoon black pepper
1 1/2 tablespoon dry basil leaves
1 1/2 tablespoon oregano leaves
1 1/2 tablespoon salt
1 cup malt vinegar
1 cup red wine vinegar
5 cups corn oil
2 cups extra virgin olive oil

Place all ingredients except oils into proper mixing bowl. Slowly add oils while continuously mixing to emulsify.
