PONTIAC, Mich. (WJBK) -

A Pontiac woman said two men raped her, then dumped her in the middle of a street. It allegedly happened late last Friday night.

"A lady was just laying in the middle of the street and another lady was walking by and a car stopped, so we all ran outside," explained a woman, who asked not to be identified, but said she did what she could to help.

The 39-year-old alleged victim told police she was dumped at Lois and North Shirley in Pontiac after being raped. It is not clear where the alleged attack took place, but neighbors did not recognize the woman.

"She was balled up in a fetal position, so I couldn't tell whether she had bruises on her or anything," the woman who came to the alleged victim's aid told us.

"She was responding, but she wasn't in a good place. I could tell you that."

The good Samaritan said she took the woman's pulse and called 911 and waited with her until the ambulance arrived.

The alleged victim was taken to St. Joseph Mercy Hospital for medical treatment. A rape kit was also completed and turned over to the Oakland County Sheriff's Department.

Investigators would not comment on the case. They told us the woman was clearly upset, but reluctant to make any statements. They are still looking for leads and whoever may be responsible.
