Fred Jordan Mission Gets Kids Ready For School With Giveaway - Los Angeles Local News, Weather, and Traffic

(CNS) The Fred Jordan Mission will host its 24th annual 'Back-to-School' giveaway. All shoes and socks have been donated by Foot Locker and charitable corporations and individuals. On Thursday, 7,500 pre-registered homeless and underprivileged children will receive new athletic shoes, clothes and backpacks donated by Foot Locker.

They will also be given haircuts.

Line begins at 5 a.m.; event begins at 9 a.m. Fred Jordan Mission, 445 Towne Ave. Downtown LA.
