Home Depot to host career workshop for Detroit's military community

The Home Depot plans to host a Civilian Career Workshop designed to assist Detroit's military community transition into the workforce.
The event will take place on Saturday, Oct. 27 at the The Home Depot regional office in Livonia (17197 Laurel Park Dr., Suite 400) from 8 a.m. - noon.
The company's human resources professionals, in collaboration with veteran associates, will conduct half-day sessions focused on job search strategies, resume optimization and interview tips that are applicable to a search in most any industry or with most any employer.
The workshops are open to any member of the military or veteran transitioning to any civilian career.
