DETROIT -- A school bus and a car collided Wednesday afternoon around the intersection of Plymouth and Meyers on Detroit's west side.
Police say the female driver of a Buick ran a red light as she turned left onto Meyers and then struck the bus.
A witness told us she saw the young passengers on the bus tossed around on impact.
"When I came up, I (saw) her crying and she was just like, 'My brakes went out. My brakes went out.' And so she started calling somebody on her phone. The kids that started jumping out of the bus, I (saw) the little boy with the bloody mouth, so I chased him down," said Danyell Rippy.
Police say the driver and her passenger in the car along with two students from the bus were all transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
