Fire investigators are trying to determine if a Sunday evening fire at an abandoned southwest Atlanta home was arson.
Firefighters responded to the 2400 block of Sandfall Court just shortly before 7 p.m. The house was fully engulfed in flames. Crews had to fight the fire from the outside due to its intensity.
Neighbors tell FOX 5 News that the house was under foreclosures. They had been complaining about the house being an eyesore for months.
They told fire investigators that they saw a group of teens running from the house shortly before the flames shot through the roof.
Police scoured the area for the children, but no arrests were made.
A neighboring house received some damage from the fire.
