UFC’s JDS on Overeem: I Want to Put Him in His Place

Posted: Updated:

UFC heavyweight champion, Junior Dos Santos sat down with Fox 11's James Koh to talk about his upcoming rematch with Cain Velasquez, Dec. 29th but also spent time talking about other high-profile heavyweights like Alistair Overeem, Fedor Emelianenko and whether he would want a fight with light heavyweight champion, Jon Jones.

Part 1:  Dos Santos talks about how he matches up with Cain Velasquez and how the fight may unfold differently than their first.  Regarding Chael Sonnen and Alistair Overeem, "I don't like their style to sell fights… I sell my fights by fighting."

Part 2:  JDS on Overeem "I said I would like to fight him but I don't think he deserves to fight for the belt.  I said that because I want to put him in his place."  Explains why he believes Sonnen and Overeem set a bad example for other fighters.
