You Decide 2012: Measure J - Los Angeles Local News, Weather, and Traffic

Measure J would continue to impose a one-half cent sales tax for the next 30 years. The measure is already in place after it was passed in 2008.

Supporters say it would help ease congested freeways and aging infrastructure in the Los Angeles area. Opponents say it won't really fund any near-term projects and is yet another tax.
