Democratic Congresswomen Janice Hahn and Laura Richardson are squaring off to represent California's newly-redistricted 44th Congressional District.

Hahn has previously served the 36th district since 2011. Richardson is a three-term incumbent who represented the 37th District, which includes Long Beach and Compton.
