All this week, Tim Thompson, known as Tipman Tim, has been showing Good Day Atlanta some great tips for the holidays. From making sure you're properly cooking the meat, to keeping the side dishes warm, and even an unconventional way to cook corn. And speaking of unconventional, how about throwing away your oven mit?

Tips:

1. Use a welding glove. Protects arm while handling hot food.
2. Use tongs to handle hot trays in the oven.
3. Use a teapot as a gravy server and warmer
4. When organizing leftovers, use dry erase markers on containers.
