DETROIT (WJBK) -- The bullet holes in the front passenger side window of a Dodge Charger were clearly visible.  Two young men inside were killed, shot at the stop light on Schaefer at Puritan.  It happened about 2:40 p.m. Tuesday when an SUV passed by and someone inside opened fire.

Loved ones quickly gathered.  A 26-year-old man and a 23-year-old man were murdered.

It was another deadly day for the clerk at a nearby gas station.  It's the reason he left his last job when a man was shot and killed outside that gas station.

"That's why I quit my job and looked for another job.  Here I'm stuck back in Detroit.  Same thing happened," he said.

One of the two men was transported to the hospital, but was dead upon arrival.

We do have names, but we are not releasing them yet as we understand that family members are still being notified.
