24 Seven is a creative and digital staffing resource for advertising and marketing clients in Chicago.

Our client, a retailer, is seeking a Print Traffic Coordinator on a long term freelance basis.

You will work with the branding manager to support a team of packaging designers, sourcing managers and product merchants in the private label department.

As a Traffic Coordinator you will work on several projects and work under tight deadlines, gathering and developing appropriate job folders to include internal forms and orders.

You must also take care to ensure that all other pre-flight details are taken care of i.e. making sure that product is on-site for photographers to shoot or collecting hi-resolution images, sending to copywriters or having copy ready in an Excel spreadsheet and delivery of manuals to QA team, etc.

All projects must be tracked in Excel so a strong knowledge of Excel is necessary as is Word, Illustrator, InDesign and Adobe Acrobat Pro.

Solid knowledge of printing processes is also necessary (Litho, Flexo) and other printing information (Line Screen, Dots, 4 Colors and substrates)
