LAKE HAVASU, Ariz. (AP) - A Jan. 8 retrial has been set for a Lake Havasu City man who is accused of murder in the July 2010 death of his estranged wife.
Today's News-Herald reports (http://bit.ly/WpxiZt) that the first trial against 39-year-old Jeffrey Cravets ended Wednesday with a hung jury.
Cravets was charged in the shooting death of 45-year-old Judy Cravets at her home.
Cravets had pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Jeffrey Cravets reported the discovery of the body to police.
He was considered a person of interest during the investigation because of his access to the residence and reports of the estranged couple's strained relationship at that time.
At the crime scene, there were no signs of forced entry and no weapons were found.
