Posted: Updated:
ATLANTA -

Good Day Atlanta anchor Ron Gant, FOX 5 I-Team investigator Randy Travis and FOX 5 reporter George Franco joined other local anchors, reporters and celebrities to help prepare Thanksgiving meals for those in need on Tuesday.

The meals are being prepared at the Renaissance Waverly Hotel in Atlanta. Each meal includes turkey, mashed potatoes, green beans, yams, cranberry sauce, gravy, rolls and pumpkin pie!

The event, coordinated by the Atlanta Community Food Bank, prepares the meals for distribution to 15 local non-profit organizations. The goal is to provide meals for about 2,700 needy Atlantans this Thanksgiving.
