White Powder Sent To 'X Factor' Host Khloe Kardashian?
LOS ANGELES (CNS) - A letter that contained a suspicious white powder and may have been addressed to reality television star and "The X Factor" co-host Khloe Kardashian was received at CBS studios in Los Angeles, officials said today.
Laura Eimiller of the FBI said the letter was received at the studios at 7800 Beverly Blvd. at 9 a.m. Monday.
"We responded with the Los Angeles Police Department and Los Angeles Fire Department," Eimiller said.
She said she could not confirm a report by celebrity website TMZ.com that the letter was addressed to Kardashian.
Eimiller said the powder was field tested "and the results were negative." She said further testing would be done as a precaution.
The letter marked the third time powder was addressed to someone at the CBS studios. Two letters were previously sent to Bristol Palin, who was appearing on "Dancing with the Stars," but both turned out to contain talcum powder.
