Police: Couple robbed at gunpoint after driving man to Meijer

CHESTERFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WJBK) -- Police say a man robbed a couple at gunpoint after they drove him to a Meijer store in Chesterfield Township.
We're told the man approached the couple as they were leaving a Buffalo Wild Wings on November 7 around 1:00 a.m. and asked for the ride.
The man got away with the couple's cell phones and cash, police say.
The suspect is described as a black male in his early twenties between 5'8" and 5'9" tall with a beard and a mustache. We're told he was dressed in a dark clothing and was wearing a knit skull cap and tan work boots.
