A man was killed in a drive-by shooting Tuesday night in the Albany Park neighborhood on the Northwest Side, police said.
The shooting happened about 10:57 p.m. in the 3400 block of West Sunnyside Avenue, said police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro, citing preliminary information.
A 22-year-old man was shot in the chest and stomach, Alfaro said, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim was identified as Keith Shaw, of the 3100 block of West Foster Avenue, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
Alfaro said the shooting appeared to be gang-related. A description of the vehicle involved in the shooting was not immediately available.
Police have made no arrests as Area North detectives investigate.
