Chanton Hopes To Be A Scientist One Day

‘Tis the season to suit up in costume for Halloween, which brings us to this week's Wednesday's Child featuring Chanton (1999), although he isn't quite sure what he's going to dress up as yet. We met with him at Paw's Pumpkin Patch in Long Beach, where he found the perfect pumpkin and starting carving it right away.

There is a story behind his name. Chanton says it's a French name for ‘good singer', although he doesn't know if he's a good singer or not!

Chanton is a curious kid and likes school. He says school is a place to learn, discover new things and do science. He would want to be a scientist so he can invent things and make lots of money at it.

He is in foster care and would very much like to find a forever family to enjoy things like trick or treating.  He says his favorite part of trick or treating is dressing up once a year and eating all the candy, but not all at once.
