A car hit and killed a landscaper and then went off of a Yonkers road and 50-feet down an embankment.

It happened about 2:30 p.m. on Friday near the Hastings-on-Hudson border.

Officials say the landscaper was blowing leaves outside a catering hall when he was hit by the car.

The incident affected Amtrak and Metro North service for a short period of time.  The MTA says that evening rush hour train service would not be affected.

SkyFoxHD showed the vehicle on its side on a brush covered slope off of Warburton Ave.

It appeared that the vehicle had smashed through a fence before plunging down the hill.

There was no information on the condition of the driver but officials say he climbed out of the car and made his way up the embankment.
