Jonathan Just Wants To Dance In A Forever Home

This week on Wednesday's Child we're dancing with a star! Jonathan (1998) is not a reality show star, but a real survivor star in his own right.  And his dance partner today is our very own Anchor, Christine Devine.

Jonathan is a dynamic young man with a great personality who isn't letting Down Syndrome and Medial Renal Disease stop him from putting on a smile as well as some dance moves. Jonathan loves music and when he finds that right tune he's likely to show those around him some dance steps.

Jonathan's speech is limited but he responds and communicates in his own special way.  He will do best in a home where he can spend quality time with caregivers that have a great deal of patience and who enjoy teaching him new things.  He is currently attending special education classes and is doing well.

Because of his medical renal disease, he is currently on medication and his prognosis is stable with ongoing daily dialysis.  Jonathan takes his condition in stride and tends to see the positive side of things.  There are services and support for those who have the ability to meet the special needs of those like Jonathan.

Jonathan is looking forward to having a caring family that embraces him with unconditional love, attention, stability, and patience as he shares his love, joy and maybe even a few dance moves with them!
