Unless something changes, starting January 1, Fulton County won't have any outside agency running its animal services and the city of Atlanta may be forced to pick up its own stray dogs and cats.
To save money, all 14 cities in Fulton County share expenses and let the county run animal services. But following the FOX 5 I-Team investigation of Barking Hound Village Foundation, the charity that runs the animal shelter, the county is struggling to keep the program running.
