Child struck by vehicle in Bartow County

BARTOW COUNTY, Ga. -

An 11-year-old boy was struck by a car in Bartow County on Thursday.

Police say the boy and his father were crossing Georgia 293 at Dean Street when the child was clipped by an oncoming vehicle.

The boy was rushed to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite with a possible broken leg.

The Georgia State Patrol is investigating the incident.
